Public call for grant applications under the framework of the Global Justice Cooperation Programme, the Global Justice Cooperation Programme for Specific Cities and the Global Justice Education Programme, taking into account the specifications for these grants, for projects starting in 2024.

The aim of these grants is to provide the necessary resources to achieve the strategic goals set out in Barcelona’s Global Justice Cooperation Master Plan 2023-2026.

Two types of projects are distinguished for all three programmes: annual projects (lasting up to 12 months) and multi-annual projects (lasting from 12 to 24 months). Project timelines do not have to match the calendar years. All the projects must begin in 2024.

The categories of projects eligible for funding under each programme are as follows:

• A. Global Justice Cooperation Programme
• A1. Global justice cooperation projects in line with the goals of the Master Plan (annual and multi-annual projects)
• A2. Cooperation projects promoting border assistance and protection and the right to migrate (annual projects)
• A3. Cooperation projects promoting gender justice (annual projects)
• A4. Global justice cooperation programmes promoting international support and protection of human rights defenders (annual projects)
• A5. Long-term crisis interventions (multi-annual projects)
• B. Global Justice Cooperation Programme for Specific Cities
• B1. Global justice cooperation programmes for specific cities in line with the goals of the Master Plan (annual and multi-annual projects)
• C. Global Justice Education Programme
• C1. Global justice education programmes in line with the goals of the Master Plan (annual and multi-annual projects)
• C2. Service learning projects submitted by an NGO and one or more schools (formal and informal education, annual projects)
• C3. Projects promoting the coherence of public policies with global justice (multi-annual projects)
• C4. Global justice impact and education projects promoting environmental justice within the context of the global climate emergency (annual projects)
