The purpose of this call is to award subsidies through competitive bidding for projects of any cultural discipline that are of interest to the city, to be carried out in a district of the city between 1 January and 31 December 2025 in the city of Barcelona.

The unique character of these activities and proposals by cultural organisations in the city bring special relevance and broader effects in their artistic disciplines, an unmistakeable bond with the district and the territory where they take place through collaboration with local entities, and a desire to transcend their immediate sphere to become projects with a city perspective and foster their cultural and intangible heritage.

The category selected in the application must correspond to the district where the project or activity will mainly be carried out.

• Category 2: Eixample
• Category 3: Sants-Montjuïc
• Category 4: Les Corts
• Category 5: Sarrià-Sant Gervasi
• Category 6: Gràcia
• Category 7: Horta-Guinardó
• Category 8: Nou Barris
• Category 9: Sant Andreu
• Category 10: Sant Martí

Physical or natural persons can benefit from the subsidies if they meet the requisites of the call.

All persons covered by Article 14 of Act 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Authorities, must fill in and submit their application and all the other formalities associated with the award procedure through the City Council’s virtual office at https://seuelectronica.ajuntament.barcelona.cat/oficinavirtual/ca following the instructions given on this procedures portal.

Online submissions are also preferable for natural persons and other parties. In the exceptional case of submissions made in person, without prejudice to the provisions of article 16 of Act 39/2015, of 1 October, on the typical administrative procedure for public administrations, these documents may be submitted at any of the offices of the General Register of the districts, management offices or institutes operated by Barcelona City Council.

The deadline for submitting applications will be fifteen working days starting from the day after the call for applications is published in the BOPB.
