Support for projects that aim to improve or care for the health of citizens, especially the most vulnerable groups or those with more specific needs, and that are aligned with municipal strategies related to health and care.

Within the field of health and care, the call will include the following categories:

A. Support for caregivers.

B. Promotion and support in the field of Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

C. Promotion of sexual and reproductive health.

D. Promotion, prevention and improvement of mental health.

E. Promotion of health, prevention and reintegration in the field of addictions.

The projects that receive grants must have the following goals:

• Help guarantee quality of health in the city.
• Contribute to the empowerment of individuals and people who are experiencing illness, caring for loved ones, promoting sexual and reproductive health and mental health.
• Help these individuals exercise their fundamental rights effectively.
• Help improve the network of associations working in the same field and foster synergies among them.
• Provide comprehensive care to the beneficiaries of the projects based on the person-centred care model.

Those eligible to apply for the subsidies referred to in this call are non-profit organisations.

The application submission period will open on the day after the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona and will close after 20 working days.

According to Article 14 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the common administrative procedure of the public administrations, it is mandatory to submit the application through the City Council’s e-office (http://www.bcn.cat/tramits), following the instructions indicated on this procedures portal.
