An industrial product is “any durable or fungible good, item or object produced by means of an industrial process and intended for direct sale to users or consumers or for marketing through retail establishments”.

- to follow the safety warnings and recommendations on installation, use, maintenance, etc.;
- that all products must contain – or make it possible to obtain in a certain and objective manner – true, effective and sufficient information on their basic characteristics;
- that they must not contain any indications, suggestions or forms of presentation that may lead to confusion with other products or give rise to doubts regarding their nature;
- that any inscriptions, signs, logos or drawings included in them must not be deceptive or misleading;
- that information must not be omitted or falsified if this promotes a false image of the product.
