The OMIC continues to provide its services to the public electronically and through the 010 phone service. Claims and enquiries will continue to be preferably dealt with online. For those inquiries or complaints that require face-to-face attention, you must make an appointment in advance on the municipal procedures portal ajuntament.barcelona.cat/cita/omic, by calling 010, or at the Municipal Procedures Kiosk.

If the reason for requesting an appointment is to make a claim, please note that you can do this online using the claim form. You can also send us your enquiry using the enquiry form on the website or by calling the 010 helpline.
To request an appointment in advance, you can request it on:
- the city council's procedures portal, ajuntament.barcelona.cat/cita/omic
- calling 010
- the municipal procedures Kiosk.
The OMIC only handles consumer issues. It does not carry out procedures for registering with the municipal register of residents or any procedures relating to taxes, fines, licences, grants, scholarships, subsidies, medical matters, car inspections and social services. If you need to request proof of residence please use the virtual office.
