Can Batlló, new Barcelona City Archives centre
In 2022, it will be possible to consult the fonds of the 21 municipal archives in the main building of the old Can Batlló factory complex. A total of 47 million euros are being invested in this project, which will turn the archives into an international benchmark centre as regards the wealth of their fonds, modernity of their methodology and quality of their service. It will also boost the archives’ outreach and exhibition side of their work.
