Educational activities
Archives are a pedagogical tool
We organise a range of activities to show school children the importance of the archives and the documentary heritage we keep. We want to raise awareness of our holdings, history, functions and services to foster knowledge of the AMB among the educational community.
The visits and educational workshops with original documents are adapted to the needs of pupils and the curriculum, they let boys and girls work with primary sources and introduce them to historical research based on consulting historical records. We offer them and teachers a variety of pedagogical activities to make them familiar with our documentary heritage and help them discover the history of Barcelona and its neighbourhoods.
