Get to know the Sant Martí District Municipal Archive

First we find out what an archive is, who works there and what it keeps. Then we look at the supports and writing implements that have existed throughout history and, finally, everyone produces their own document.

Its learning goals are to:

  • Point out important events in the history of the 19th and 20th centuries.
  • Relate the historical events of the period with local and family history and narrate them.
  • Communicate ideas and information orally. Pose questions that could be the subject of investigation.
  • Use skills for treating information.
  • Contrast information based on different documents.
  • Use critical and creative thinking to analyse information.
  • Fit stages and events in personal history to understand the passage of time.

Educational levels: Middle and upper cycles of primary education and compulsory secondary-school education.

Approximate duration of the activity: 1 hour

Price: free.

Bookings: Please call 932 219 444 or email amdsm@bcn.cat
