Whose side were they on?
Documents that refer to the Peninsular War (1808-1814), including petitions, circulars, sheets from minute books, correspondence and receipts about the relations between the municipality of Sant Martí de Provençals and the Napoleonic authorities in Catalonia, as well as with the Spanish regency and the guerrillas, serve to show how we learn to acquire and evaluate historical information based on primary resources.
