MACOSA didactic briefcase
This briefcase is designed to teach students the history of this key factory in Poblenou’s development and contribute towards their knowledge of Catalonia’s industrialisation process.
The documents it contains are the result of research in various archives: the Sant Martí District Archives, the National Archive of Catalonia, the Poblenou Historical Archives and those of the trade union Comissions Obreres. There are also documents and an audiovisual recording of some of the workers who worked and lived at the factory.
The briefcase is loaned to schools that request it by calling 932 219 444 or emailing amdsm@bcn.cat.
