The Gràcia tramway system
We invite you to come and take part in a visit and workshop aimed at primary school students aged 10-11 to find out about the Municipal Archives of the District of Gràcia (AMDG). The combination of the visit and the workshop offers the chance to find out about the Archives as well as carrying out a documentary research activity.
The first part of the activity is the visit to the archive centre, where students are shown the process a document goes through from when it arrives at the Archives to being consulted by users. The second part focuses on the research workshop through which students investigate and think about the implementation and evolution of the tramway system of Vila de Gràcia in years gone by using different types of documents.
