Signage renewed in the city’s green spaces
Green streets. In all, vertical signs are being changed at 97 parks and gardens in Barcelona. Other types of signs are also being added and replaced around various green spaces in the city to improve information for the public.

Recycling. A total of 227 collection points are open from 7 to 17 January around the city’s ten districts, enabling Christmas trees to be recycled and used to maintain gardens and green spaces.
Work begins on the L8 extension on Monday, 8 January
Public works. The L8 extension works will include the construction of a four-kilometre tunnel, three new stations and the renovation of two existing ones.

Children. The goal is for 90% of citizens to have one of these spaces within 10 minutes of their home in 2025.
Road closures and parking restrictions for New Year’s Eve celebration on Maria Cristina
Mobility. Barcelona will ring in the New Year with a spectacular celebration on Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina, as a result of which roads in the surrounding area will be closed to traffic.
Mort and Phil help control pedestrian crossing in Eixample
