More schools to revamp playgrounds to make them greener and foster joint education
Education. Seventeen city schools are redesigning their playgrounds with the programme ‘Transformem els patis’, adding more greenery, making them more coeducational and opening them up to the local neighbourhood.
Public competition for seven plots to foster greenery and biodiversity
The use of these municipal sites will be granted on a temporary basis for allotments, gardens or biodiversity spaces.
New subsidies for protecting and improving landscape and heritage

All city beaches to be non-smoking and more accessible
Beaches. The ban on smoking is being extended to all city beaches to make them healthier and more respectful towards the environment, and to facilitate shared use.
