Last update:
Barcelona City Council, via the Employment Health and Safety Advisory Council, is organising the Ignasi Fina Health and Safety Award to promote and recognise good practices and preventative initiatives in companies and/or institutions and improve people‘s health in regard to their working conditions. The goal is to contribute to knowledge and highlight the best risk-prevention and health-promotion experiences within a company or occupational activity.
Value will be given to high-impact initiatives in the field of workplace risk prevention and the promotion of occupational health. In this year‘s edition, two special mentions are also being planned: one referring to the area of mental health and the other to health in SMEs. These special mentions will be considered where the award‘s winning project does not cover these conditions.
This call for applications is open to any professional, employee, work team, group, service, institution and/or company that has promoted and developed an improvement in workplace prevention or health in a company or work activity, regardless of the activity or sector. The submitted project must be implemented in the City of Barcelona.
The award has a financial allocation of €10,000, €6,000, which will go to the candidate receiving the Ignasi Fina Employment Health and Safety Award, with €2,000 going to each of the two special mentions.
Application period: from 16 May to 16 August 2023, both dates included.
