Barcelona is already buzzing with the atmosphere of a big occasion. Today, the official draw for the men’s and women’s teams of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Finals Barcelona 2025 was held at the Club Metropolitan Iradier, a ceremony that included prominent figures such as Agustín Tapia, Andrea Ustero, the president of the Spanish Padel Federation, Ramón Morcillo, and Joan Cuscó (Octagon).

With the draw already decided, the city is preparing to turn the Palau Sant Jordi into the world epicentre of padel from 11 to 14 December. Only the 16 best pairs of the season will be competing for the title of Masters in the last and most prestigious event on the calendar.

A men’s draw full of high-voltage duels

Tapia and Coello, number 1 in the ranking, are set to begin their run against Leal-Bergamini in a particularly demanding draw. On the same side, they could face either Lebrón-Ausgburger or Stupa-Di Nenno, one of the most eagerly anticipated matches of the quarter finals.

Ari Sánchez and Paula Josemaría, facing a high-demand start

The women’s draw is also charged with emotion. The Catalans Ari Sánchez and Paula Josemaría, number 2, will face Ale Salazar and Martina Calvo in their opening match. If they advance, they could meet the winners of González–Fernández vs Alonso–Jensen in the semifinals.

Barcelona, world capital of padel for another year

With the Palau Sant Jordi all set and a spectacular match schedule, Barcelona will soon be buzzing with the excitement of the last major battle of the season. The Finals will bring together international padel’s top stars and place the city —once again— at the centre of the international sports scene.

Just one week till the show gets underway. All set to crown the Masters of 2025.
