Healthy eating among school children doing sport
Here at the Barcelona Institute of Sports we are working to promote healthy eating among children and teenagers doing sport. That is why we are offering a guide entitled Mou-te i menja bé! [Get moving and eat well], which answers 20 FAQs on the importance of maintaining a healthy diet and good hydration when doing physical exercise and sport. It includes reliable information on the relationship between food and sport, eating habits and food properties, plus useful resources for further information.
The guide was prepared jointly between the Barcelona Institute of Sports and the Catalan Public Health Agency and is aimed at professional physical-education staff who are in charge of children and young people outside school hours.
