Barcelona hosts the 48th UNIVERSAE Trial Indoor and the 5th edition of the Barcelona Women’s Trophy
The 48th UNIVERSAE Barcelona Trial Indoor on 2 February will be the fourth scoring round in the X-Trial World Championship 2025.

The Palau Sant Jordi will be hosting the fourth scoring round of the championship, the halfway mark in the season, with Toni Bou leading the way after the three rounds so far.
The event also includes the 5th Women’s Trophy, adding a new appeal to the occasion and this year inaugurating the Women’s X-Trial FIM Trophy.
Adam Raga’s last competition
The event also marks the retirement of Adam Raga, who rounds off a career of 25 years in the sport’s elite having notched up 24 competitions, 6 victories and 18 podiums at the Palau Sant Jordi.
The Women’s Trophy inaugurates the Women’s X-Trial FIM Trophy
The Barcelona Women’s Trophy will also be the first round in the new Women’s X-Trial FIM Trophy, with Berta Abellán defending the title against rivals such as Andrea Sofia Rabino and Naomi Monnier. The women’s competition will be decided over two rounds, with the second to be held in Stavanger (Norway).
New competition format for the X-Trial World Championship 2025
The X-Trial World Championship 2025 has a new competition format with Q1and Q2, the introduction of the Super Pole and a final with four riders.
The 48th UNIVERSAE Barcelona Trial Indoor again positions the city as a leader for indoor trial, offering a day of top-class sporting action at the Palau Sant Jordi.
