Everything is set for the B100 Nose Race 2025, which will be taking place on the afternoon of 31 December in Barcelona and will once again smash records. Almost all the 13,000 available bibs have now been allocated, the highest figure achieved to date, and the event has also set an absolute record for female participation, with more than 4,700 female runners.

The councillor for Sports, David Escudé, highlighted that the race “will once again make history” and stressed that thousands of people will bid farewell to the year “running through the streets of Barcelona, in an event with the best atmosphere and a great sports festival”.

As usual, the race will have two categories: an international 5-kilometre race, reserved for professional athletes and considered one of the fastest circuits in the world, starting at 4:20 p.m., and the traditional 10-kilometre fun run, open to everyone, which will start at 5:15 p.m. with staggered starts.

Due to the elite race, mobility in the Sant Martí district will be affected from 3:30 p.m., when the roads that form part of the race course will be closed to traffic, and the use of public transport, especially the metro, is recommended. Both races can be followed live on barcelona.cat/esports.

Among the participants will be distinguished athletes such as Marta Galimany and Abdessamad Oukhelfen, favourites to win the 10-kilometre race. In the last four editions, the race has set four world records in 5K, consolidating Barcelona’s status as one of the world capitals of athletics.
