All the streets used in these two activities in the local festival for this neighbourhood in L’Eixample will be closed to traffic on Saturday and Sunday morning. In the case of the parade, road closures will also affect the districts of Sants-Montjuïc and Ciutat Vella. Various bus services will be affected.
Tres Tombs
The streets around the route will be closed on Saturday from 10.45 am to 2 pm:
C/ Tamarit (in the opposite direction) – C/ Comte Borrell – C/ Parlament – Rda. Sant Pau – C/ Comte d’Urgell (side nearest the Besós) – C/ Tamarit (in the opposite direction) – C/ Villarroel in the opposite direction) – C/ Floridablanca – Rda. Sant Antoni (side nearest the Besós) – Pl. Universitat (side nearest the sea) – C/ Pelai – La Rambla (side nearest the Llobregat) – C/ Hospital – C/ Maria Aurèlia de Capmany – C/ Riera Alta (in the opposite direction) – C/ Comte Urgell (in the opposite direction) – C/ Manso.
Parking will be prohibited from 7 am to 3 pm in a section of C/ Riera Alta. From 9 am, restrictions also apply in Pl. Josep Puig i Cadafalch, and in sections of C/ Guàrdia Urbana, C/ Lleida (side nearest the Besós), C/ Tamarit, C/ Comte Borrell, C/ Parlament, Rda. Sant Pau, C/ Comte Urgell, C/ Villarroel, C/ Floridablanca, Rda. Sant Antoni, C/ Pelai, La Rambla, C/ Hospital, C/ Manso, Av. Paral·lel C/ Manso, as well as other sections of C/ Riera Alta.
Road surfaces will also be divided in Rda. Sant Antoni, between Pl. Universitat and C/ Sepúlveda; in Pl. Universitat, on the side nearest the sea; and in C/ Pelai, between C/ Balmes and Pl. Catalunya.
Various bus services will be disrupted, with vehicles diverted or routes limited between 9.30 am and 2 pm: D20, D50, H16, V9, V11, V13, V15, 13, 55, 59, 67, 91, 120, 121, 141, 150 and Red and Blue Bus Turistic services.
Besides planning and executing the safety operation, the City Police will be taking part in the Tres Tombs parade, with various mounted lancers, and police vehicles opening up the route and bringing up the rear.
Cursa Moritz (Sant Antoni fun run)
The route will be completely closed to traffic on Sunday during the morning:
C/ Floridablanca – C/ Casanovas – C/ Sepúlveda – C/ Entença – Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes – Pl. Tetuan – Pg. Sant Joan – Rda. Sant Pere – Rda. Universitat – Pl. Universitat – Rda. Sant Antoni – C/ Floridablanca – C/ Comte Urgell – C/ Marqués Campo Sagrado – C/ Viladomat – C/ Parlament – Av. Paral·lel – C/ Entença – Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes – C/ Comte Urgell – C/ Floridablanca.
In this case, the bus services affected by diversions and limits to routes will be: D20, D50, H12, H14, H16, V9, V11, V13, V15, V17, V19, 7, 13, 19, 21, 22, 24, 39, 54, 55, 59, 63, 67, 120, 121, 141 and the Red and Blue Bus Turístic services.
