The Manager’s Office for Territorial Coordination and Proximity and the Municipal Institute of Information Technology start a project for managing events in public streets and squares, developed with Scrum@IMI agile practices and the participation of four of the city’s ten districts: Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Eixample, Gràcia and Sants-Montjuic.
The comprehensive management of district events, infrastructures and services is the first of a series of projects making up the full scope of a new information system for events management in the city.
This is an innovative organisational and technological solution for events management, from its initial planning and efficient management, through to the concluding activity with the dismantling of platforms, sound systems and final cleaning. Its main goals are to simplify management, communication and organisation through technical innovation.
The main scope of this first stage is to replace the current tool and develop integration with the necessary corporate management tools, platforms and modules, as well as the implementation of a new module for characterising graphic and alphanumerical spaces.
