These meetings were run with the idea of offering spaces for re-thinking women’s support services from a different perspective, based on exchanging individual, group and community experiences.

The first was held on 8 May 2014 at the La Fontana Youth Centre, under the heading “Public Support Services for Women and Their Impact on the Daily Lives of Women and Their Communities”. Community action projects run in several districts, regarded as examples of good practice for promoting women’s participation in the city, were presented throughout they day.

The second meeting was held on 18 June 2015 at the Palau Macaya, under the heading “How We Detect Gender Violence from the Community Sphere”. A gender-violence awareness and prevention video, entitled What is Your Role?, was presented and good-practice projects were outlined.

The third meeting was held on 15 June 2016 at Palau Macaya, under the heading “Feminism: Intervention in the Community and the Area”. A gender-violence awareness and prevention video, entitled Marina, was presented and good-practice projects were outlined as in the previous two editions.
