Barcelona is gearing up for a special evening on Thursday at 6 pm with the ceremony for the Women and Sport Awards 2024, an event highlighting the talent and dedication of women in the realm of sport. For anybody wishing to follow this year’s ceremony live, there’s an opportunity to do so via a streaming service.
Previously know as the Premi Mireia Tapiador, the Women and Sport Awards have five categories reflecting the wide range of contributions by women in sport: Sports Promotion, Best Sportswoman, Media, City Sports Club and Woman Sports Director. These categories represent the diverse roles women play in promoting and strengthening women’s sport.
