La Volta Ciclista a Catalunya is gearing up for a historical event: the first women’s edition of the race in stages. This evolution reflects the event’s growing commitment to women’s cycling.

Catalonia will be the scene for the finest in women’s international cycling for three days, from 7 to 9 June.

Stage 1: Manresa – Manresa (100.7 km)

The competition gets under way on Friday, 7 June, with a stage of 100.7 km starting and finishing in Manresa. This first stage promises to be an interesting challenge for the cyclists, with a route combining flat areas and climbs.

Stage 2: La Seu d’Urgell – La Molina (95.7 km)

The cyclists will be facing a stage of 95.7 km on Saturday, 8 June, taking them from La Seu d’Urgell to La Molina. This is a key point in the event, with a final climb that could be decisive for the overall classification.

Stage 3: Molins de Rei – Barcelona (86.6 km)

The event culminates on Sunday, 9 June, with a stage of 86.6 km from Molins de Rei to Barcelona. This final route, with an iconic landscape and the finishing line in the Catalan capital, promises to be a grand conclusion to this first edition of the women’s Volta.
