Sant Andreu’s Women’s Support and Information Point (PIAD) changes its address

As of 25 May, the Sant Andreu Women’s Support and Information Point will be located at the new Trinitat Vella Community Life Centre (CVC), on Carretera de Ribes, 51.

As of 25 May, the Sant Andreu Women’s Support and Information Point will be located at the new Trinitat Vella Community Life Centre (CVC), on Carretera de Ribes, 51.

The Trinitat Vella Community Life Centre is a facility that integrates several services coordinated with the neighbourhood’s other facilities and services, for working together to improve the well-being of its residents. The space includes the Sant Andreu PIAD, the Community Action Service, the Franja Besòs Social Services Centre, the Youth Dynamisation service, the Inter-Culturality Service and projects from Barcelona Activa’s “Work in the neighbourhoods”, Foment de Ciutat’s “Vila veïna” and the Neighbourhood Plan. There will be over thirty professionals working in this facility.

The centre has an events room, a reception, a gentle physical activities room, several meeting rooms, spaces for workshops, multi-purpose rooms of various sizes and rest and accommodation areas. In addition, it will also have several resting spaces available, ranging from a very open reception and inviting furniture to a bar, as a more information gathering space.

Access to the PIAD is by appointment which can be made by calling free-phone 900 922 357, Mondays to Thursdays, from 9 am to 7 pm, and on Fridays from 9 am to 4 pm. You can also send an email to piad_santandreu@bcn.cat

What are PIADs?
They are Women’s Support and Information Points which offer information, training and advice in several fields, individualised counselling, legal advice, assistance in male-discrimination cases and awareness-raising workshops community activities.
