All set for the 71st edition of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell – Conde de Godó Trophy
The tournament will be taking place from 13 to 21 April on the courts of the Reial Club de Tennis Barcelona
From 13 to 21 April, the 71st edition of the Conde de Godó Trophy will be taking place at the Reial Club de Tennis Barcelona, which this year is celebrating its 125th anniversary.
A deluxe line-up featuring eight of the Top 10 players
The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell – Conde de Godó Trophy features a deluxe line-up that includes eight of the top twenty players in the ATP ranking. These include Andrey Rublev, Casper Ruud and Alex De Miñaur, all great clay court specialists. Also participating are the winners of recent tournaments like Ugo Humbert, Seba Báez and Karen Khachanov.
The participation of tennis players like Rafa Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz is yet to be confirmed due to the respective injuries they currently have.
A benchmark for sustainability
The tournament remains committed to the environment, implementing an ambitious sustainability plan that is an international benchmark for sports events. This edition will see the launch of the new project for reusing greywater and rainwater.
