All set for the European Drumming Cup in Sants-Montjuïc
Barcelona is about to become a focus point in the world of drumming, as the city will be hosting the European Drumming Cup, the most prestigious club competition at the continental level, from 5 to 8 December. Over four intense days, the 32 best women’s and men’s teams will be competing at the Sants-Montjuïc’s sports complexes with a clear goal in mind: to lift that trophy and become European champions.
The competition officially begins today, Thursday 5 December, with a warm reception and welcome ceremony at the Font de la Guatlla Civic Centre from 7 to 9 pm. The perfect opportunity to meet the participating teams, and kick off what promises to be a memorable edition of the tournament.
From Friday on, the competition will be fought out at four different venues in the district:
- La Marina Sports Complex
- La Bàscula Municipal Sports Complex
- La Sagi Sports Complex
- Tres Xemeneies Sports Centre
On the 6, 7 and 8 December, those venues will be buzzing with excitement, and every performance will reflect the skill of all those taking part. Whether you’re already a fan of drumming or you’re someone who wants to discover the magic for the first time, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
