Following the installation at the CEM Horta, CEM Bac de Roda, CEM Júpiter and CEM Vintró Joan Alentorn, it is now the turn of the CEM Perill.

Work began to install solar panelling at the sports centre on 19 July, with the panels to cover a surface area of around 446 square metres. The installation consists of 200 units with modules of 430W each, generating a maximum output of 85 kWp and a nominal output of 80 kWn. All the power and communication cables from the rooftop to the technical room have been installed.

The installation not only brings environmental benefits, but also improves conditions for the entire sports community. With estimates putting the power generated at 118,540 kWh/year, the green energy produced will allow the facilities to be kept in optimum conditions, guaranteeing a healthy and comfortable space for all users at the Perill Municipal Sports Centre.

These initiatives form part of the City Council’s strategy for developing a fair, democratic and renewable energy model, with a clear focus on self-generation and self-consumption.
