Official preparation for the eDreams Half Marathon Barcelona
This Sunday, 15 December, the La Mar Bella Municipal Sports Complex will be the venue for the Test 10K.
This is a training session specially designed to help runners prepare for the eDreams Half Marathon Barcelona by Brooks. The day represents a unique opportunity to improve your physical condition and fine-tune your training plan in preparation for the race.
A comprehensive programme to optimise performance
The training, which will start at 9 am, includes a series of activities designed to help you improve your technique and measure your performance under controlled conditions:
- Muscle strengthening exercises, to improve endurance and prevent injury.
- Race technique, with a focus on efficiency of movement.
- Test 10K run, using ProAm Training’s LED light system, which gives a target pace for each runner.
- Final stretches, to ensure optimal recovery after the activity.
Setting the target pace for the half marathon
The primary aim of the Test 10K is to provide an accurate assessment of the participants’ current physical condition, and to help them establish a suitable pace for the half marathon. The session also allows participants to fine-tune their training plan so as to optimise their performance on race day.
