Over four days, the six competing teams will race in the first regattas of this thrilling competition. The regattas will take place between 2 and 4 pm (weather permitting) and can be watched from the city’s beaches as well as from the Race Village at Moll de la Fusta.

After the preliminary regattas, the Village will reopen on 29 August and remain operational until the end of the event, offering visitors a space for leisure, culture, and gastronomy. On race days, the Race Village will host the sailors on the main stage each day, with a show designed to bring the teams closer to the fans.

Two Fan Zones

Additionally, Barcelona will set up two ‘Fan Zones’ at Plaça del Mar and around Bogatell, with giant screens where you can watch the regattas live.

With over 350 accredited journalists from 24 countries and a team of 2,300 volunteers, Barcelona is preparing to host one of the world’s most widely followed sporting events. The City Council has established an operational committee that will meet daily to ensure the smooth running of the competition.

All the venues are free and open to the public, allowing everyone to experience the America’s Cup firsthand.
