The Salomon Run Barcelona returns to Montjuïc this Sunday
On Sunday 14 April, Montjuïc mountain will be hosting the Salomon Run Barcelona, a sporting event aimed at fans of running.
The competition features three different routes: 5 kilometres, 10 kilometres and a particularly demanding vertical modality.
The Salomon Run Barcelona 5k race, which starts and finishes at the Montjuïc Magic Fountain, is aimed at runners looking for a more accessible distance. Despite being a less demanding route, it maintains the spirit of the competition and offers a varied course that takes in some of the lesser-known areas of the mountain.
The 10 k race offers a bigger challenge. The route enables participants to explore some of the lesser-known parts of the mountain, including steep inclines, numerous steps and iconic landmarks. This option promises to be a unique experience for all participants.
The Salomon Run Vertical, exclusively for more experienced runners, puts their endurance and physical strength to the test. This modality consists of climbing the steps of Montjuïc, making it the most demanding challenge in the competition.
Once they have completed the course, runners have the chance to enjoy a vermouth in the After Run area, a time for celebration and socialising with the other participants in the race.
The Salomon Run Barcelona has established itself as an event that combines a passion for running with discovering new corners of the city. A fun-packed day dedicated to sport, nature and leisure.
