In an old cavalry barracks at Carrer de Lepant, 387, which we share with the Citizen Help and Information Office (OAC), district technical services, Guinardó Social Services Centre and other agencies.
The Horta-Guinardó District Municipal Archives occupies an area of 430 m2 and is divided among:
- A document repository of 173 m2 with 2,136 m of shelving and a capacity for 18,000 boxes.
- A 30 m2 reference room for 12 people where we also hold training and educational activities, teaching workshops for schools and so on.
- A document reception and treatment room of 38 m2, where we receive, condition, clean, classify, digitise and describe the documents that come in.
