The human overexploitation of nature on a global scale has generated an impact which puts the continuity of life in danger and calls for uncompromising action to tackle the climate emergency and move towards a sustainable future.
Historically, women, peasants and indigenous people around the world, have shown us how the culture of domination and power that generates gender inequality and global injustice is the same culture that triggers the exploitation of nature and other living beings. Their condemnation and action from different ecofeminist perspectives show us that a profound social transformation is needed which puts life in all its forms at the centre of things.
We’re filling the city with ecofeminist activities. Don’t miss them!
