Feminism-women. The closing ceremony was led by the district councillor, Marta Villanueva, and ended with a performance organised by Dona Cançó.

Held at the Fabra i Coats site on Thursday, 10 October, the 4th Sant Andreu Local Circuit Meeting looked at gender violence from different legal perspectives.

The district’s feminism director, Roser Ciurana, opened the event before the first talk. Two round-table discussions followed. In the first the protagonists were victims and survivors of violence, while the second looked at the current situation and challenges in the legal system. The event concluded with remarks from the district councillor, Marta Villanueva, and a performance organised by Dona Cançó.

The event was part of the Barcelona Circuit against Gender Violence, an inter-institutional collaboration project for providing a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary and cross-cutting approach to preventing and detecting gender violence and helping women and children in their recovery and reparation process.
