Conference marking the 20th anniversary of the Barcelona Circuit against Gender Violence
The conference was held between 1-4 June 2021 to commemorate the work carried out since the foundation of the Barcelona Circuit against Gender Violence 20 years ago.
The conference had various objectives:
- To give a voice to the professionals who made the creation of the Circuit possible back in 2001.
- To give a voice to the professionals whose daily work has made it possible for the Circuit to overcome difficulties, consolidate, evaluate and advance over the course of the last twenty years.
- To facilitate the participation and attendance of professionals who are currently working in the Circuit.
- To highlight the improvements and involvement of the various institutions that have comprised the Circuit over these 20 years, and to shine a light on the feminist entities that have recently been incorporated into all the structures of the Circuit.
- To combine scientific and educational content with more personal and testimony-based content, so as to include the maximum number of experiences.
The anniversary conference was held in a hybrid format: presentations were made from the Auditori Calàbria 66, with these speeches being broadcast online to people who had registered for the event.
