LGBTI. The music gala L’Orgullosa is being held at the Moll de la Fusta wharf on 28 June, from 7 pm.

The second edition of L’Orgullosa comes in addition to a series of other activities being organised around Barcelona to celebrate International LGBTI Pride Day, on 28 June. This year’s concert moves to the Moll de la Fusta wharf and features artists such as Tanxugueiras, Niño de Elche, Putochinomaricón, Maestro Espada and the producer Raül Refree.

L’Orgullosa is one of the activities being organised in June to give visibility to and stand up for sexual, affective and gender diversity. The extensive programme has a strong presence in the districts, in collaboration with local facilities and organisations, and has also reached important museums in the city such as the CCCB, the MNAC, the Museu Marítim and the Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya.

Pride Day is on 28 June, a date marked around the world and which was established following the Stonewall riots in New York in 1969. The echo of those events is still reflected today in the struggle for LGBTI rights and freedoms.
