La Ferroviària allotment
This is a plot measuring 570 m² with community crop terraces. It has a zone with composters and structures to promote useful fauna. The space is totally adapted for people with reduced mobility.
This is an urban allotment for all ages created to bring an empty plot of land to life. The allotment, managed by the La Sagrera Residents’ Association, is a meeting point for children and adolescents from the Educational Action Residential Centres (CRAE) and elderly people from the Onada Residence. It also seeks to bring together families who use the La Sagrera - Marina Clotet library and the schools in the neighbourhood that want to participate in the project. The harvest is donated to the CRAE.
With activities promoted by the library, the CRAE and the residence, people connect with nature and learn values about respecting the environment.
