Co-management of public spaces
The Barcelona City Council promotes green areas within the city and encourages city residents to improve and care for these areas.
Thus, it is essential to encourage organisations and associations to help to maintain parterres and planters in urban parks.
This is the city’s commitment to promote biodiversity and strengthen its green spaces with the goal of improving its residents’ quality of life.

- The organisation has to have an insurance policy for the activity.
- The organisation has to pledge to maintain the space for two years.
- The organisation has to accept the maintenance tasks outlined in the co-management agreement.
