La Font de la Guatlla allotment
This is an allotment measuring 1,510 m². It opened in 2012 and includes nine community terraces for organisations or families, in addition to different parterres where flowers and herbs can be grown and a small greenhouse for the nursery. The space is equipped with a tool shed, a composting area and a water collection zone.
This urban allotment aims to be a participatory space for organisations and individuals where social and community farming are promoted. It works with groups like people at risk of social exclusion, people with mental health problems, the elderly and schools. It is always open to welcoming new organisations and residents that want to help to disseminate the values of local organic cultivation and promote economic, ecological and social sustainability by creating networks of relationships between people and nature.
