The Fundació Pere Mitjans and the Fundació Joia use the allotment as a workspace to support people with disabilities and mental illnesses, helping them to develop their life projects more independently.

The allotment is an opportunity to create a place of physical and emotional well-being where skills are fostered and new opportunities for social and workplace inclusion are created. Community participation is encouraged, and awareness of these vulnerable groups is promoted.

Additionally, healthy eating habits are encouraged through self-consumption, and sustainability and social cohesion are enhanced through interactions with the local community.
