Streets and squares
To film in public streets and squares, you need to contact the Barcelona Film Commission.
In libraries
To film in the city's libraries, a series of public-sector charges have been established which vary according to the type of space and library in question.
You need to send your request to comunicaciobbcn@bcn.cat and CC it to the library you wish to film in. Once your request has been received it will be assessed and you will be informed of the hire cost, which the producer will have to pay before the filming takes place.
Under no circumstances should the filming disrupt the smooth running of the library. Please bear in mind that any costs resulting from the filming and use of the location, such as cleaning services, surveillance or any repairs or damages, will be borne by the producer.
