Some public libraries in the city offer users tablets equipped with a series of apps and wifi access. This service is geared towards information searches for cultural purposes, learning and access to educational and recreational resources.
Anybody who holds a library card can use this service, adults and children alike. Devices may only be used inside the library building. Users whose library cards have been blocked will not be able to use this service while they are blocked.
Users need to identify themselves with their library card code and PIN at the tablet-charging point. Once this step is completed correctly, the station will make the tablet with the most battery charge available. Users may not take more than one tablet at the same time.
Sessions last two hours. Tablets have a timer, and a notification appears one minute before the end of the session.
Once the session ends, the tablet must be returned to the same station it came from. Stored content will automatically be eliminated.
