Karime (dancer) and Tati Amaya (guitarist and composer), great-nephews of the great dancer Carmen Amaya, were introduced to flamenco with the company of their mother and dancer Mercedes Amaya “La Winy". At la Mercè concert, the flamenco duo are accompanied by Miguel de la Tolea and Joaquín El Duende on vocals, Jose Córdoba on percussion and José Maldonado as a guest dancer.
Karime and Tati Amaya, prominent representatives of the Barcelona flamenco scene, maintain a deep connection with the roots of Catalan flamenco, a legacy that they have managed to maintain and enrich over the years.
