Kora has managed to articulate a discourse all of her own, using a frame of reference that is as unusual as it is essential for understanding new narratives in contemporary music. The artist experiments in countless different sonic terrains, and makes her recording one of the most versatile on the scene. Kora's is one of the most original offerings in terms of the new alternative national sound - she combines electronica with other more organic sounds, drawing the major aesthetic currents within the music of her generation together in a natural way. Working from her bedroom at home, at the age of just 22 the Catalan artist has become one of the circuit’s open secrets, with a clear commitment to Catalan independence. She herself composes, performs, produces, records, mixes and masters all her music.
