GRANTS FOR THE PROTECTION AND IMPROVMENT OF LANDSCAPE AND HERITAGE
We support actions of interest in terms of heritage, and initiatives for renovating the architecture that makes up the urban landscape.
HERITAGE AND SHOPS
City residents are showing a growing interest in the protection and preservation of the city’s heritage, especially that of exceptional, emblematic places that give neighbourhoods their identity. We are offering these grants to encourage the renovation of the shops and urban features that give the city its unique personality.
WALLS AND PARTY-WALLS
These are often the result of regulatory changes in urban planning, and create eyesores that break up the visual harmony of the urban landscape, as well as having a detrimental effect on thermal insulation and on the buildings themselves. To combat this, the City Council is providing grants to promote improvements to private buildings that meet the required sustainability, greening and biodiversity criteria.
GREEN ROOFS AND GREENING-UP
Green roofs are one of the key elements for bringing about a greener and more sustainable city, and for helping to adapt the city to the effects of climate change. The City Council is launching initiatives to transform terraces, roofs and skylights in existing and newly constructed buildings, in order to maximise their social, environmental and energy potential, turning them into them into green terraces and living roofs.
